Summer's Golden Girl - Copyright (c) 8/19/09 by Dan Sharpe.

Summer's gold now fades to gray,
as we grow older, day by day.

Fall becomes a setting sun,
life's great course is nearly run.

Springtime dreams, so green and bright,
are swallowed up, in Winter's night.

You'll always be my golden sun,
and warm my heart, till life is done.
